Miscanthus is ideal for a dry toilet litter.
It has many ecological advantages:
- it is made in Ariège (the department next to Aude where Lécopot is located)
- it requires little water
- we know of few diseases, so it does not require phytosanitary products!
- planted, it reduces runoff and erosion of topsoil
In the composter, its granulometry will allow good aeration, essential for the maturation of the compost.
For use as dry toilet litter, we recommend using it in addition to another litter such as wood shavings.
Miscanthus, even crushed, is "larger" than wood chips and has less coverage.
It is also an excellent mulch for your plants or animals.
